The Digital Innovation Group (DIG) at Providence Health & Services is a small but mighty product development and incubation team that is building next-gen tools that give patients convenient and easy access to healthcare virtually anywhere, anytime.

We are seeking a Senior Manager for Digital Insights in Seattle, WA who is a master hunter of insights through data gathering. This role commands that the occupant understand the business of the web and is both comfortable wading through multiple data sources/platforms and disciplined enough to know how to focus in on which territories will yield real business results.

You are someone who understand the “whys” and “hows” of a given initiative knows how to craft business and functional requirements using baseline data to inform teammates, developers and web producers who will bring the initiative to life. You are collaborative and know how to broker strong ties with key stakeholders, especially the analytics and technology platform teams.

You have a deep fluency in Google Analytics, and have a strong appetite to learn how to navigate data and insights from a variety of other automation, personalization and optimization platforms. You thoroughly enjoy data puzzles that encompass competitive, industry, qualitative, quantitative, social, web, media, and even financial elements. Your puzzling mastery enables you to identify stories and strategies that help the team hit KPIs and drive meaningful business results.

You are efficient, convicted in your opinions, and unafraid of titles – you show up well in front of any type of stakeholder.

In this position you will have the following responsibilities:

  • Own the delivery of insight and business intelligence across Providence websites, making recommendations and implementing improvements to current business practice. This includes the development of reports and dashboards with insights that drive changes in the business. Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to develop and deliver actionable reports and insight for all Providence website presence.

  • Collaborate with the development and analytic teams to provide reporting requirements for GA or other analytic tools.

  • Create and maintain statistically robust models to facilitate understanding and managing key business goals (digital transactions, digital registrations and monthly active users). Passion for base lining data to build viable forecast models.

  • Develop a thorough understanding of the customer data available to maximize the benefit of customer insight over simple click reporting, through ad-hoc analysis, dashboards and monthly business reviews, to answer business questions and drive decisions.

  • Experience with and understanding of how to translate data into strategies that inform web page designs, HTML templates, and Javascript tags to strengthen growth marketing programs. Familiarity with tag management systems to understand what consumer data is collected is strongly preferred.

  • Through development of compelling and simple visualizations, both communicate and influence application of key business-driving recommendations.

  • Establish a robust reporting methodology to support business priorities, regional marketing teams and system teams, using as much automation as possible.

  • Collaborate with conversion optimization team on data comparison and metrics reporting of control and variation page performance through transactional journeys. Estimate the business impact of scaling changes across web pages.

Qualifications:

Required qualifications for this position include:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing or Business

  • Coursework/Training in Web Analytics

  • 7 years’ in Data Analytics and Insight

  • 2 years’ in SEO/SEM.

  • 5 years’ experience with Omniture, Google Analytics, or ClickTale

  • 2 years’ in customer data analysis and modeling experience

Preferred qualifications for this position include:

  • Master’s Degree in Marketing or Business Analytics.
