Providence Health & Services Senior Digital Strategy Manager in Seattle, Washington
The Digital Innovation Group (DIG) at Providence St. Joseph Health is a small but mighty product development and incubation team that is building next-gen tools that give patients convenient and easy access to healthcare virtually anywhere, anytime.
We are seeking a Senior Manager of Digital Strategy in Seattle, WA that will support Providence’s efforts to adopt technology to improve care delivery and our operations. The Senior Manager of Digital Strategy will be principally responsible for executing the digital strategy efforts of the Digital & Innovation team at Providence Health & Services.
In this position you will have the following responsibilities:
Contribute to problem definition, hypothesis development, and problem solving approach in support of leaders
Conduct quantitative and qualitative analysis and synthesize key findings to inform the development of the digital strategy
Synthesize key findings into clear, compelling storyline for Digital Innovation team, in particular the Director and Senior Director
Understand and execute on core analytic approaches around key individual analytics, and defines improvements appropriate for stakeholders and use cases
Contributes to alignment throughout Digital, the Ventures team, Digital Marketing, Clinical Program Services (CPS), Population Health, IS, regional innovators, and all other key stakeholders regarding the goals and priorities of PSJH’s digital innovation strategy
Contribute to building and managing a robust, repeatable internal practice around the execution of the Tech Cascade – the process by which PSJH can identify, scope, and pursue digital solutions to organizational problems
Support the Ventures team when investment exploration overlaps with internal business case development
Contribute to development of business plans and pro-formas to support the commercialization of new revenue opportunities within Digital Innovation
Support business development opportunities and strategic partnerships, as needed
Manage, as needed, special projects for the office of the Chief Digital Strategy Officer
Stay current on the digital health landscape and identify new opportunities and growth strategies. Evaluate emerging technologies and provide thought leadership and perspective where appropriate
Required qualifications for this position include:
Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field
8 years healthcare strategy experience
Must be strategic, creative, and hands on working in an agile/lean start-up culture with in a large health system
Demonstrated project management abilities, preferably managing cross-functional, non-hierarchical teams outside of a direct reporting structure
Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills with a variety of audiences including leadership, care team and technical support
Preferred qualifications for this position include:
8 years healthcare strategy experience in a provider setting
Startup and/or digital health experience preferred
Analytical educational background preferred, or demonstrated equivalent capabilities through work experience
