Providence Health & Services Digital Analytics Manager in Seattle, Washington
The Digital Innovation Group (DIG) at Providence St. Joseph Health is a small but mighty product development and incubation team that is building next-gen tools that give patients convenient and easy access to healthcare virtually anywhere, anytime.
We are seeking a Digital Analytics Manager in Seattle, WA to be responsible for managing the collection and analysis of web traffic and user data and oversee the creation of holistic reports and dashboards by pulling information from different digital data sources and websites. This position is also responsible for designing and overseeing the analysis of digital campaigns, including insight development as well as mid and post-campaign reporting, analyses, optimizations, and strategy recommendations across the full spectrum of digital media (desktop/mobile banners, social, video, email, SEM, content marketing, website analytics). This position may lead and direct the work of others.
The successful candidate will be an innovator thinker who understands marketing and technology, and who can apply technological and analytical methodologies to extract and report the insights required to power a differentiated digital experience - across web, social, search and mobile – to drive engagement and loyalty. This person will be well versed with a variety of internet concepts, practices, and procedures, including web usability, content management, web best practices, and understanding the integration of online and back-end systems, and will rely on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. The digital analytics manager needs to be an outstanding communicator capable of explaining analysis to others and clearly articulating recommended approaches and responses to what is learned from data.
In this position you will have the following responsibilities:
Identify all required data sets needed by the digital services team to successful do its work. Develop and grow digital analytics capabilities.
Prior to any campaigns/websites/products launching, ensure KPI goals and other success targets are set, create and implement the plan for how to get those measurements, and develop appropriate vehicle/report to communicate results to team.
Work efficiently with the digital and marketing teams to define, extract, and synthesize available data and share results and insights.
Perform online campaign reporting and conversion analyses, interpret results and develop recommendations for clients and internal team members. Glean actionable insights to campaign optimization and maintain global KPIs and benchmarks for digital marketing campaigns.
Package and present analytical findings and communicate (both written and verbal) complex concepts to digital services team as well as other stakeholders and partners.
Develop analytics tracking strategy and implementation documentation for teams, which may vary by goal and analytics providers.
Design and build dashboards, using data from multiple sources, to report on analytics for websites and other digital properties. Collaborate with the digital team, specifically digital marketing and digital product management team, to deliver weekly/monthly/quarterly reports.
Required qualifications for this position include:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of workplace experience, education and/or training.
5 years analytics experience with an emphasis on web products and building and leading cross functional teams; or 5 years of progressive web and/or marketing management experience.
Previous experience with digital analytics and attribution tools, such as Google Analytics.
Solid working knowledge of digital disciplines including, but not limited to, websites, mobile sites/apps, social media, SEO, SEM, banner advertising, digital coupons, digital video, content marketing.
Demonstrated ability to work innovatively to find new solutions, new delivery capabilities.
Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills with a variety of audiences including leadership, care team and technical support.
