Providence Health & Services Senior Analytics Manager in Renton, Washington
The Digital Innovation Group (DIG) at Providence St. Joseph Health is a small but mighty product development and incubation team that is building next-gen tools that give patients convenient and easy access to healthcare virtually anywhere, anytime.
We are seeking a Senior Analytics Manager in Renton, WA to drive the evolution of our consumer marketing analytics platform, collaborate with various teams across our vast business, and be key part of a growing Marketing analytics practice in one of the largest health systems in the world. This role will give you the chance to build out new technology and measurement processes and see the results of your work take flight.
This position executes the web, mobile, and CRM analytics reporting discipline for Providence's marketing organization. You will interact with multiple teams across our vast system including marketing, digital innovation, strategy, research, and executive. You will be a principal analytics resource for multiple public websites, intranet, physician and patient portals, mobile applications, campaigns and other extensions of the digital experience across Providence, Swedish, St. Joseph, Kadlec, Facey, PacMed, and other affiliates.
In this position you will have the following responsibilities:
Understand the needs of technical teams and non-technical stakeholders, helping all parties to make appropriate trade-offs by considering the larger picture
Influence the analytics data product with a reporting and analysis view of the world, looking for ways to keep the data clean and the data architecture consistent.
Meet with product leads to create analytics requirements for mobile or web products and work with technical resources to make sure those requirements are met.
Understand business requirements and how they relate to analytics
Engage with business partners and coach them as necessary to identify and shape central business questions that need to be answered by data analysis.
Create and curate key customer segments, dashboards, and reports to make sure that citizen analysts across the business are looking at their data in the right way.
Be a key voice and driver in the implementation and integration of new marketing stack technologies.
Develop processes to automate and scale reporting program capabilities wherever possible.
Help democratize data and insights by providing training and empowering citizen analysts to run their businesses.
In advance of large marketing campaigns help the Marketing business team set KPIs and success metrics, then write analytics requirements to ensure that data is collected and implementation adequate.
Perform online campaign reporting and conversion analyses, interpret results and develop recommendations for clients and internal team members. Glean actionable insights to campaign optimization and maintain global KPIs and benchmarks for digital marketing campaigns.
Package and present analytical findings and communicate (both written and verbal) complex concepts to internal stakeholders and partners.
Manage an external analytics vendor who will assist you with analyst, technical architecture, and analytics engineering support.
Understand tag management process and help govern tag deployment and data collection to mitigate risk while meeting business needs (Tealium).
Required qualifications for this position include:
BS in one of the following disciplines: Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Mathematics, or other related scientific or engineering fields.
7 years analytics reporting and implementation experience with an emphasis on web and mobile products or in Marketing campaign reporting.
2 years of web and/or marketing program management experience
Previous experience with web analytics platforms Google Analytics Premium and/or Adobe Analytics
Previous experience with CRM platforms related to Marketing analytics
Experience with tag management tools. Google Tag Manager, Tealium etc.
Demonstrated experience with visual storytelling, dashboarding, and reporting.
Demonstrated written, verbal and presentation skills
Demonstrated ability to work innovatively to find new solutions, new delivery capabilities
Expert knowledge of Microsoft Excel and/or Tableau (data mining and/or dashboarding experience)
Experience in data governance for web and mobile analytics
Knowledge and proficiency of Microsoft Office suite
Skilled user of Microsoft Excel (PivotTables, VLOOKUP, Conditional IF's, etc.)
Experience supporting A/B/M testing, personalization, and programmatic teams/functions
Manipulate data using R or Python
Google Analytics Certification
Understanding and usage of Google Chrome Developer Tools
Write Regular Expressions (RegEx)
Actively practice in Agile environments (standups, sprints, backlog, Kanban, JIRA, etc.)
Understand statistics and experiment design
Experience with requirements gathering, analysis and documentation
Preferred qualifications for this position include:
