We are seeking a Principal Technical Recruiter to be a key part a small, elite recruiting team shaping the future of the Providence Digital Innovation Group through innovative, results-driven talent acquisition strategies and delivery. This seasoned technical recruiter will help us find great technical talent, leveraging their own network and experience to attract the top talent across the United States. They should be highly adaptable, ready to embrace and be invigorated by the challenge and come with a consultative point of view on how to attract, assess, and hire technical talent.
About the team you will support:
The Digital Innovation Group (DIG) at Providence is a small but mighty product development and incubation team. We build next-gen tools that give patients convenient and easy access to health care anywhere, anytime.
DIG is both a healthcare startup and a technology/product incubator. Our team gathers market data on effective solutions in the health care space and then builds out a product line with the latest and greatest technology. When market maturity hits, DIG enables the product to spin out as its own company. It is a unique mix of venture capitalists, digital strategists, marketing acumen, product development and engineering all in one group nestled inside one of the largest health systems. We set the pace for other health care organizations around the country on how to conceive, engineer and launch effective health care solutions.
In this position you will:
Manage full cycle recruiting process with a focus on strong hiring manager partnership and candidate advocacy.
Partner with hiring managers and business leaders (Director, Exec Dir, VP, etc.) to assess short- and long-term hiring requirements and collaborate on the external talent acquisition strategy.
Collaborate with the talent acquisition team to refine and identify new ways to build talent pipelines and execute on tactical research, referral generation, events, and sourcing campaigns.
Partner closely with third party sourcing vendors and outsourced recruiting support team (Sourcing and Recruiting Coordinator) to ensure seamless, efficient process flow and collaboration for speed and quality.
Find and engage with passive candidates.
Evaluate and interview candidates to determine fit.
Required qualifications for this position include:
Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Organizational Development, Human Resources, or related area or 4 years additional experience in lieu of degree.
7 years recruiting experience focused primarily on software engineering and related niche skill sets with commercial or consumer product development organizations. Proven recruiting experience in finding high level skill sets such as Front End, Back End and Full Stack.
4 years Demonstrated experience reviewing resumes against job requirements, behavioral interviewing candidates against competencies and presenting recommendations to Hiring Managers.
