Providence is calling a Marketing Manager to our location in Orange County.

We are seeking a Marketing Manager who will be responsible for collaborating with brand and product marketing teams on building and nurturing engagement programs with key audiences to support marketing strategies and plans. In this role, you will manage assigned engagement programs and assist in the execution of marketing plans to support the achievement of business goals and objectives. You will track metrics for assigned programs and proactively monitor and evaluate trends and research to know and understand the needs of target audiences to achieve maximum marketing effectiveness. In addition, you will use this information to inform the marketing team of needed changes in marketing activities to improve results. You will assist with the launch of campaigns, services and products to the market and work as part of the team to ensure Go To Market activities lead to market success. The Marketing Manager will apply strategic thinking with hands-on execution skills to drive delivery of solutions that will support the entire marketing team and achievement of business objectives for the organization.

This position requires a good understanding of marketing principles, a natural curiosity and passion for understanding people and easing their way in health care, and a drive for continuous improvement. You will need to understand the different markets Providence serves and monitor business, market and consumer trends impacting assigned programs. This position requires analytical skills and the ability to consolidate data into a concise story. You must be able to work well in collaboration with others, while also working independently to accomplish tasks and meet deadlines. You must be able to prioritize multiple requests and work on diverse tasks simultaneously, and be able to influence decisions by effectively using data and knowledge to advocate for the most effective audience-centric strategies and tactics. You will ensure all activities are consistent with Providence’s mission, vision and core values.

In this position you will:

  • Serve as the point of contact and leader for assigned programs. Establish and maintain strong working relationships with cross functional departments and marketing teams and effectively lead and coordinate the activity of multi-functional teams.

  • Work closely with brand and product marketing teams to build programs that will drive engagement with key audiences. Create effective, comprehensive plans and measurement tools to easily communicate with others, drive adoption and share learnings across teams.

  • Manage assigned programs to support the successful execution of marketing strategies and campaigns. Ensure effective tracking, and reporting of assigned campaign components.

  • Synthesize insights from multiple stakeholders and audiences into initiatives that will increase engagement and the overall success of assigned programs.

  • Work closely with brand and product marketing, and creative services teams on overall strategy, design, messaging and materials development for assigned programs.

  • Develop content and marketing collateral for audience-focused strategies supporting assigned programs. Coordinate completion of projects and ensure quality of all high quality of all deliverables.

  • Stay abreast of key marketing and consumer/audience trends, and work with research and media teams as necessary to gain better understanding of audience behavior.

  • Develop plans and adhere to deadlines and budget assignments.

  • Position requires ability to travel occasionally.

Qualifications:

Required qualifications for this position include:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Business, or related field or equivalent education/experience

  • 6 years experience in communication, marketing or sales.

Preferred qualifications for this position include:

  • Experience in healthcare marketing.

  • Direct experience in audience marketing and/or program management.
